Belmar water main switch over scheduled for next week
Crews are restoring the site and pressure testing the main from Electric to Redwood, and spreading top soil in the Westerly tree lawn. The switch over to the new water main will take place Monday thru Wednesday of next week. Residents will be notified when permanent water service is available.
Crews will then remove the temporary line, clean up the excavation area, regrade ditches, reseed tree lawns, and make miscellaneous repairs. Motorists are advised to drive with caution and not to park on tree lawns within work areas.
Any concerns relating to construction should be directed to Avon Lake Municipal Utilities at 933-6226 on workdays (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and 933-3229 on weekends and holidays.
